I read this as a library book in the late 1950's and have never been able to find a copy to purchase. I still remember it as being not only a delightful and touching story but beautifully drawn. I hope it will come back into print soon.

I found this book in a "used book" store 20 years ago, loved it, gave it to a friend, and now regret it... It is truly a treasure if you're lucky enough to have a copy!
