Excellent Refutation of Jesus Mythicism

The Jesus Legend is not simply another apologetic work on the historical reliability of the New Testament (although it does build a solid case for the New Testament's trustworthiness). With respect, but unflinching courage, Boyd and Eddy tackle the toughest arguments of Mythicists like Robert Price, Richard Carrier, G. A. Wells, and Earl Doherty. They demonstrate convincingly that Jesus did indeed exist, and that the canonical Gospels portray Him accurately. I found the chapters about historical method and the "silence of Paul" to be especially well done. The benefit of this book over just any apologetic for the New Testament is that it tackles arguments most other books ignore. It is a timely and spectacular book that should be in any serious Christian apologists library.
