The Itsy Bitsy Spider

I found this book at the library and it quickly became my daughters favorite book. All I have to do is begin singing the song and she starts searching the house for the book. The illustrations are simple and engaging. I highly recommend singing along to your child while reading this book. It helps them visualize the song.(Also, another reviewer wrote that the spider only had six legs, but in fact, he does have eight. He uses two of them as arms and the other six are used as legs, complete with shoes!)

I borrowed this book from the library and reluctantly returned it since it quickly entered our evening repertoire of required reading with my 2 year old. I knew I would have to get it along with at least one other from this author/illustrator. I love the way the bright illustrations tell the classic song with original detail (the spider climbs up the spout again on the last page wearing a swim ring).
