A fantastic book

As a political junkie, I found Calvin Mackenzie's book thoroughly absorbing. It provides excellent insight into why Americans are so disenchanted with electoral politics today. And it outlines solutions to combat the problem of mainstream parties. Mackenzie is a clear and concise writer, and I found this book accessible. However, it would also be a good source for any academic work in this area.
