Not as described

I was not told it would not have a dust jacket (cover). It said very good condition

One of my favorites

This book was so beautiful... It made me feel like I was known in my lonliness. Written very well, and I love the concept of the plot. Highly recommend. One of my favorite books I've ever read. Finished it in like two days, couldn't do anything else.

beautiful story with beautiful writing

this book is so dreamy and captivating, and the time stamps do help to establish a time period for the flashbacks yet also help the reader feel much like addie by giving us dates we most likely will forget, just as time passes by for an immortal being addie may be cursed to be forgotten, but her story definitely wont be.

A surprising favorite

It took a little bit for me to get into this one, but it was worth the effort. The writing style, the span of centuries, the growth and experiences of the main character, the beautiful descriptions of scenes, of feelings, of the darkness, it results in a story that I loved. This genre was outside of my norm, but I'm so glad I gave it (and the author) a chance.

Literally couldn't put it down

One of the best books I've read in a long time, I was so enthralled the entire time I finished it in 2 days because I didn't want to put it down. Moments of heartbreak, second chances, self reflection and vulnerability it's full of everything you need to make a story readers will immediately connect with

Heartbreakingly Beautiful

The way the author highlights internal conflict, the unbearable idea of settling, and the notion that the grass isn't always greener on the other side creates this sense of relatability for any and all readers. There is definitely something of substance that anyone can take away from this book, and I HIGHLY recommend.

The Best Book!

I absolutely loved this book! I wish she would write a continuance off of it, but nevertheless it was still worth the loss afterwards. The only part I didn't like was a character named Henry's involvement, I could've dealt without him. Addie was just femme perfect!

Careful what you wish for

Very different book but I love the unexpected. Book is at times magical and terrifying for main character - like she has entered a game without being given any rules. Joyful as she makes her way with Henry. Heartbreaking at the nature of what she has to give up in order to move on. Well written and difficult to put down.

Instantly on my Favorite List

Truly enjoyed this story, it was well thought out, executed wonderfully, great storyline. I didn’t want it to end.

Beautiful prose

Everything about this book felt French. Obviously, the first half of the book was often set in France, but it wasn't just that. It was the lyrical nature of the writing, the names, the story. Every moment you felt the emotions deeply. I don't have words for more in this review yet because I gotta go cry over this.

It was ok

Not my favorite book but worth a read.
