Sifting through evidence, motive, & the occult has Taylor & McKenzie trying to figure out the who's & whys while trying to keep an open mind on the witchcraft aspect. Meanwhile, the book delves into Baldwin's background & an old case involving him & Charlotte. Not as good as the other books in the series.
