The Hurt Locker was a ground breaking war film in its technique of immediacy. In terms of story, it is a character driven tale of a bomb diffuser in Iraq. The taut relationships between the army members and the Iraqui people coupled with fantastic direction made this a memorable film experience. The script is excellent.
