Part of SonLight homeschool curriculum. I was a bit concerned my son would find this a bit boring, but he enjoyed it. The action is not a big as other books, but there's still enough of it. It gave wonderful examples of the family needing to pitch-in together during difficult times and being honest.

This is a great book. My 7 year old daughter read it aloud to me. I wish we could find a sequel.
