The house on the hill

Book ReviewThe book, The house on the hill, written by Eileen Dunlop is a suspenseful book. You never know what's going to happen or who's behind the door for example. The characters help the book to be even more suspenseful since they love adventure. I loved this book and prescribe it for everyone. As I said it, enjoyed the suspense and the characters had a great time reading this book. It happens during summer vacation when Philip goes to visit his aunt.At first, Philip doesn't want to go visit his aunt for summer vacation but is obligated to. His cousin, Susan and his Aunt Jane both live alone in a dark freaky house in the middle of nowhere on top of the hill. Philip had always heard evil mentioning about his unfriendly, proud and unable to take care of kids Aunt Jane. But as the days go by, Philip learns who aunt Jane really is and even who he himself had became. With the help of Susan, Philip finds that the spooky Victorian house come upon a fifty year old mystery which is really frightening in it's investigation and which reveals a tragic story on Jane's past. First, an abandoned room's lights seems to be turned on every night, second, a camera which takes pictures of invisible furniture and third, things start to appear and disappear! ! But later on, they will all see how much Jane must have suffer from everybody. An incomparable story with a sensational plot and lots of adventure.Suspense is one of the primary reason that make this book awesome. It is always the most unexpected issue that occurs in the plot. Things never happen the right way. Even if this story is suppose to look like it's real, fanciful things happen and it is hard to believe this could really take place. On his first night, Philip saw a slit of light under the door even if his cousin, Susan, had told him it had been empty for years. It was like if someone was in the room.... But when they start investigating, they get problems. They find an abnormal camera and a room full of secrets. They both get scared and don't tell auntJane, but since both of them are very curious and like adventure, they go inside the rooms. They start having visions, seeing things that aren't there but once were, they see people, acting like they had. As they go more and more into the haunted room and its secrets, they learn stories about the family that maybe they shouldn't know about ...What is going to happen is one of he major reason that you cannot stop reading the book. It isn't a boring story where nothing happens! ! I also liked the characters in this book and how they personality changes within the events, exceptionally Philip. Philip is a boy who thinks he's kind of perfect except in school. Nobody ever dared telling him who he really is. But one day, his cousin Susan is annoyed by his arrogance and meanness. It is true, since he didn't want to go to his aunt house, Philip is mad at everyone around him. He starts destroying stuff and making life harder for Jane and Susan. When Susan te
