This book is both picturesque and a comprehensive discussion of horse care in winter in a variety of settings. I am a relative novice at horse ownership so found the detail provided particularly valuable. I recommend that you pick the chapter that concerns you most and read that one, as it covers such a wide range of topics. Dont read the whole book cover to cover. Come back as you need it. Oh, and again, the photos are simply lovely as well.
