The Homewreckers

Fabulous read, especially if your are a Mary Kay Andrews fan! This books is a page turner, some many twists! I loved it!

I have enjoyed every book written by this author (Mary Kay Andrews/Kathy Trolcheck). That includes It started off a bit slow and I noticed a strong similarity to Ten Beach Road by Wendy Wax. It does have an interesting plot twist. All of this being said, I was disappointed in the use of the F-bomb. This expletive does not add anything to the plot or make me glad I spent 25.00. It will make me reconsider before buying book No. 31. .

This is a Southern Chick-lit/Romantic Suspense. The beginning (first 30%) of this book I found to be boring and hard to get into. I really enjoyed the book after the first 30% of the book. I found the characters ok. My favorite thing about this book was the mystery and the story this old house tells. I did not see the twist coming at all before the reveal. I loved the ending, and the suspense at the ending. The romance at the ending I found to be cute, and I think the characters that ended up together fit so well. I received an ARC of this book. This review is my own honest opinion about the book like all my reviews are.
