Great Short Stories

There are nine enjoyable short stories in this compilation. Most stories take place in Nebraska, Oklahoma and Texas in the mid to late 1800's. Even though the stories are short, you get to know and love the characters. I was so taken how hard life was then, but each settler was thrilled and felt blessed to have land of their own. I love these compilations (I have 3 more in my closet)
and would recommend them.
