This book details the characters and gear inside on a level I did not expect to find entertaining, I was wrong. This book reads like a movie or tv pilot that explodes in your hands. It does more than hit you over the head with action, it talks straight to you on a level you will understand and enjoy. These books have continued to satisfy while keeping my hunger alive for the next story!

I really enjoy Mr. Chalker's stories. His characters kind of seem real and their sense of humor in the face of danger makes for fun reading. I can lose myself in his books and just enjoy the story. I really do enjoy this character and storyline.

Great book, I read Chalker's nonfiction, so I was already a fan, but this series is excellent....I'm a definite fan of the home team!!!

Although I have never heard of these two writers, I could almost tell right away by the sound of the synopsis on the back cover that this was going to be good. And I wasn't disappointed. And if you like fast-paced action/adventure reading, along with rich details, then you will enjoy this also. This would make for a great Hollywood film. But knowing them, they would most likely botch it up. Unless a great director was attached to it, like Tony Scott, Randall Wallace, or Steven Speilberg, just to name a few. As to the book? The writers seem to know what they are talking about. One being an ex-Navy SEAL. Gritty and cool, The Home Team Undeclared War novel is chock full of revenge driven men, getting together to help out a friend, who's family has been taken hostage by a band of terrorists. Even though I do like detail, sometimes this came across a bit too much, slowing down the pace. But if you are looking for an above average military type revenge story, then this one is for you. I look forward to reading the next in the series - Hostile Borders. As well as the other books written by these solid seeming authors.

Realistic and true to life as you would expect from the Dockery/Chalker team... An entertaining read.
