Gianna is kind of stupid for not believing Franco about the crazy ex-girlfiend, but this is Helen Bianchin book, so that is the norm. I adored this book because you get glimpses into what Franco is thinking and there were bits and moments where Franco was so sweet and loving to Gianna, like in the beginning when she is about to leave and he asks, "Are you forgetting something?" and kisses her. Swoon! Also there was a funny little side romance between the argumentative grandparents. Gianna, unlike other heroines in HP books, actually had a friend with whom to interact and a job so that was great to see. Usual HB's heroines are usually so closed off from the rest of the world. The heroes are the reason why I love HP books so much and this book showed the hero's loving actions more so of course I love it. Newer HP books definitely show a little bit into what the heroes' thoughts (more I would say!) and more sweet moments between the couple instead of fighting or having sex. I'd wish Helen would stop w/ the crazy ex-girlfriends though.
