The Heavenly Man: The Remarkable True Story of Chinese Christian Brother Yun

This man has a very crazy testimony and everyone should read it. From being beaten and imprisoned for Jesus to being miraculously healed and escaping prison! I read the whole book in 2 days and cried my eyes out the whole time. Be encouraged to give it all for Jesus!

Most amazing how the lord enables us to endure murderous, barbarous acts against our faith, freely expressed, in that Christ/Redeemer person, Jesus. Fervently sought, the young man sought and obtained a bible, impossible in China, unless you get the approved comunist version-christ the man only. He recounts where the Lord leads him then and now, living the faith-walk lifestyle. I was led to listen right through, daily, while-driving. it's well done, well presented, well read. I thank God for his people, like brother Yun, who keep the faith, unwavering. The unseen things, bringing to nought the things that are seen as the Bible says. At one point God healed his legs and enabled him to invisibly walk out of a maximum security prison, after the guards had thoroughly broken both his legs, thoroughly. His witness of God's love has also inspired major faith movements accross modern china, underground churches forming secretly in countless homes everywhere, regardless of facing three year terms in prison if caught. and people peacefully enduring several such egregious trespasses against religious freedom. He consistently, beautifully expresses his love of God, it's quite a blessing to hear. Truly, how do you walk on broken legs if not, purely, in faith and by God?

Almost unbelievable - except for the fact that he knows the Living God for which nothing is impossible. Great story. Could hardly put it down.

I cannot explain how powerful this book is. I wasn't expecting anything, I bought it as an afterthought and just thumbed through the beginning. A few pages in, I couldn't put it down...seriously. I've passed it along to other believers, one woman read it and then re-read it in a week. Hands down, the most inspirational testimony I've read in twenty years.

If you want to have your personal faith challenged to go deeper, to step out and to be the salt and light to the world around us... and if you don't mind shedding many tears in the process... than read this book. It honestly changed my life.
