A wonderful page turner that will transport you

The Hangman’s Daughter is a wonderful story of adventure, love, and mystery that totally engrossed me. It’s been a long time since I read a book that I could not put down, but this one has me not being able to wait to read the rest of the series!

Love this book series!

Quite the mystery read! An intriguing family with a unique family trade. I enjoyed getting to know each member and learning about the life of an executioner in old Germany.

Goody Mystery but Misleading Title

I liked the mystery and the huge plot twist in the novel. However, the plot mostly revolved around the Hangman and the guy who liked the hangman's daughter. The daughter was still an interesting character, but it felt like the plot could have gone on without her.

The hangmans daughter is a thrilling page turner and pulls you in.

I love this book. I liked Magdalena, the hangmans daughter. She is head strong and smart and witty. Jakob, the hangman, is feared by everyone. He is smart and has to solve the case of the murdered children before an innocent woman is charged for witchcraft. The town's physician son is helps Jakob find the killer and the last remaining children
