Viking historical fiction at its best

Loved this book start to finish. Fast paced plot with great, meaningful detail. It felt like there was no part of this book I didn’t love. The characters, the world building, the plot twists and turns, the battle scenes, the complex dynamics. I really wanted to read a Viking historical fiction to see that part of history brought to life (and not just as a side show for English historical fiction), and this was just so perfect! I can’t stop raving about this book! I’ve recommended it to everyone I know. Definitely worth picking up a copy ◡̈
