The Great Gelato Recipe Book: Tons of Delicious, Decadent Gelato Recipes for Every Occasion

I just opened to my first recipe, pineapple gelato. The opening paragraph states that this recipe can use up your canned pineapple or the fresh pineapple you haven't had a chance to get to. Ok. 2 sentences down, it says that the key to this recipe is fresh pineapple. That makes me suspicious, because of the contradiction. It is a recipe for 4 servings. Then it says one of the ingredients is 6 cups of egg yolks. 6 cups. Roughly, 4 pounds (1.8kg) of egg yolks. Which is only an ingredient if you're making industrial -sized recipes. Not 4 servings. Most other recipes call for a reasonable amount of eggs, but not the orange one, listed right after the lime one. And limes should have more problems setting (and need more egg yolks) than orange. In summary, this book needs to be edited, or is just bunk.@Thomas Kelly, let me know if you're a real person and I may update this review in the future.
