I suggest you read this for yourself. If you are really searching for answers you will find them. If your hateful of other views and dead set on believing evolution then don't write a review of this book and post it as others have. It's obvious many of the reviews written here about this book are full of hatred and animosity towards this view. We have different starting points. Some start with the view of millions of years and evolution is true. Other people start with the belief that God's word is true and there is a creator and the evidence for a global flood is ALL OVER THE PLACE! Look at the grand canyon, marine fossils on top of mountains and billions of dead things burried in rock layers LAID DOWON BY WATER all over the earth. Not to mention every people group on the planet has a flood story VERY SIMILAR to that of the bible. Cave drawings and dragon legends all over the world. The word DINOSAUR didn't exist till sometime in the 1800's so the only word they could use to describe these TERRIBLE LIZARDS was DRAGON. I suggest you read it and test it to find the trush for yourselves. It's a good read.

My 9 year old son loves this book! It is well written with sections and pictures to make it interesting for kids, but very factual for adults as well. The Biblical perspective is excellent and soundly backed up with scientific evidence gathered from both Christian and secular sources. This book is full of the dinosaur facts and trivia my son is fascinated with and is soundly based on proven science and Biblical research. A very balanced and well-thought out book. I highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in seeing the proven facts behind the dinosaurs contrasted with the theories. There is an over-abundance of evolutionary kids books stating theory as fact and only telling part of the story. It is so refreshing to find such a well-written book from a Christian perspective that truly takes on the secular theories and uses solid science to back Creationist views.

The dinosaur "mystery" is really only a mystery to heathens that question whether the Holy Bible is the inerrant literal truth. Ken Ham, in this captivating book, shows how the Good Book clearly tells the history of the T. Rex, the Triceratops, and the Argentinosaurus. Dinosaurs were created on the sixth day, survived the flood on the Ark, and, sadly, were driven extinct (much like the dodo and passenger pigeon) after the flood. But not before giving rise to "dragon" legends prevalent in cultures around the world. An unexpected bonus to this book is that Ken Ham takes the time to point out places in the bible that explicitly discuss dinosaurs. I had never noticed these before! The Book of Job 40:15-19 describes a "behemoth" which is most certainly a herbivorous dinosaur (maybe the brachiosaur?). Following Mr. Ham's lead, I've found many other biblical dinosaur references. For example, the book of Leviticus, which contains the Lord's strict prohibition of the consumption of shrimp (11:10-11) and pork (11:7), also prohibits of the consumption of dinosaurs (11:30). Also, I think if you read the Book of Habakkuk closely, as I have, you will soon realize that Habakkuk is really an archaeopteryx.

Unlike the other reviewer, I actually read the book and found it a real eye-opener for a long time athiest/evolutionist like myself. Now I am a "right-wing religious extremist" and proud of it. You just can't argue with the facts, I tried.

This is an excellent book for ages 12 to adult. It has some illustrations, and shows the importance of Genesis in our world view. There were not millions of years of animals dying before God created Adam. Most fossils were made in the flood. By not believing what God says in the book of Genesis, we undermine the foundation of our faith in Jesus Christ. This leads us to wrong thinking and to making up our own rules - what's right for me may not be right for you, and who cares about you, thus leading us away from kindness and away from the truth and towards moral relativism. This leads to many of the moral problems which we have in our country today. Also, where do you stop tearing out portions of the Bible and throwing them away? The book has beautiful drawings and good commentary on dinosaurs, the dragons, behemoths, and leviathans of the past. Ken Ham's claims are based on the Bible and scientific discoveries around the world. The text is footnoted, and the footnotes are as interesting as the main part of the book. For anyone interested in this subject, I highly recommend this book. "There was no death until Adam sinned."
