The Gray-Eyed Goddess

This is the story of Athena and Odysseus. Odysseus was trying to get home to Ithaca, but Poseidon, the sea god, was giving him the hardest time of his life. All the gods were angry at Odysseus because he blinded the Cyclops, Poseidon's son. All of Odysseus' warriors were destroyed. Odysseus' son is going to go look for him. Other men wanted to marry Odysseus' wife to get his land and his money, but she did not want to marry anyone else. This book is really good to read for any age. It is interesting to learn about the different gods and goddesses in the story and how they act with Odysseus. If someone reads the story to you,like our teacher did, it feels like you are actually in it.
