As both an author and reader of fiction, I was impressed with "The Goodness Gene". Maybe it is because I have always enjoyed a book that could hold my attention and make me think at the same time. Give this book a try. The fiction book that I have written main story theme is about ten years in the life of a little girl who was "chosen by God" to be the next Madonna in the second coming of Christ. Yes it has cloning in it. Tommy Taylor Author - The Second Virgin Birth

I began this book thinking it would not be on my best-books list, but as the story twisted and turned and things started to come to the surface, I found I liked the book more and more. The image of a "greater world" were amazing, scary and almost believable. I found myself referring to this book in everyday life quite often, and I highly recommend it.
Thrilling Futuristic Adventure...

Having been my first novel written by Sonia Levitin, I was not quite sure what to expect of this novel. From the first few pages, however, my imagination was captivated and remained so throughout the course of the novel. Weaving a suspenseful tale set a few hundred years from now, Levitin tells the story of one young man, Will, and his journey towards self-understanding and the realization that perhaps his world is not the best of all possible worlds. After a catastrophic cataclysm, "The Collapse," a new society dominated by one supreme ruler, Hayli, forces edicts that suppress society. Will, being the supposed son of Hayli, is forced to compete with his twin brother, Berk, for control over the government. As the novel progresses, and Will encounters a young woman named Leora, he discovers facts that question the source of his existence and the falsified truth that he has been forced to accept. This futuristic novel, not only provides a thrilling story-line, but raises questions about ethics in our current society. I would reccommend this novel to just about anyone searching for an entertaining read that also provokes thought.
