This is an excellent book for either young French readers or those who are intermediate French students (should have completed at least first year French). The stories are a lot of fun. The verb tenses are mostly those encountered in first year French with some passé simple throw in for good measure. If you are a French student, you will learn some new vocabulary and enjoy the stories immensely. If you are already fluent in French, you will find the stories quite amusing.
