Reading some of the reviews on some of the books, it never ceases to amaze me how "reviews" are typically being generated by mostly "opinionated" readers. You can almost observe the undisciplined "mind" to react like a "knee-jerk reaction". When it hits a "nerve", very few choose to "learn" rather they "react" (histrionically). ======================================== I found the book refreshing compared to some of the "in the box" kind of reading material. I personally know individuals who prefer "in the box" type of journalism like Lee Strobel's "Case for Faith" book. It's like drinking "decaf". I enjoy a bit of stimulation once in a while. Simon brings to the table his uncanny ability for flushing out difficult stories with a rare visceral penache. Those looking for a definitive pat answer to THE QUESTION will have to look elsewhere. However, Schwartz and Simon present the means to examine this age-old conundrum through a new prism. Their success allows us to, once-again, have the freedom to scratch our collective heads for another millenneum or so.
