Fast History For Busy People

Breezy treatment of the break from Newton to Einstein and quickly string theory pulling a chair to the table. Gave me a new understanding of how much astrophysicists want to OBSERVE an elegant FORMULA incontrovertibably WORKING with an = roughly middle and nakedly joyful. Excellent application of trigonometry / Pythagorean foundation to aid digestion. I'm always stunned how well Newton and the giants thereafter could apply math, frequently not long equations. And that's the story in a nutshell even smaller than this tiny book with seasoned size font. Something fairly simple, lovely. Something with a logic that everyone can understand. Formula observed working. F O W. It will be so powerful that it both refutes and proves God.
