I love this book!

this book isn't as exciting as the new movies, but it is very entertaining. i bought this when it first came out in 1989 and i still love it. they are light entertaining stories that kids can enjoy as well as adults. its not meant to be a dark journey to the soul of batman and underbelly of gotham. if you just enjoy batman in all the different ways people portray him, you will probably like this book. subway jack and daddys girl are my favorites.

An anthology put together by the esteemed editor Martin H. Greenberg. This was done to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of the Darknight Detective. This anthology does contain and pretty impressive lineup, with Max Allan Collins, Robert Sheckley, Isaac Asimov, Mike Resnick, and George Alec Effinger among others. Definitely well done. Definitely a case for the dynamic duo. 3 out of 5 Sea raider has all the trappings except the bird. 3 out of 5 Smart guy stuffs batcomp, but a bit loopy to use Terror Ray effectively. 3 out of 5 Dressup slaughter. 2.5 out of 5

A must for any Batman fan.

This book combines some of the best talents writing science fiction today, and puts them all in one volume,(particularly interesting is the way each individual author's way of looking at the Batman) Read the short story Subway Jack and you will get the idea. All in all a very pleasant read
