A detailed and intriguing account of the rituals and symbolism from its origins to today. This description may be from another edition of this product.
"The Freemasons" by Jeremy Harwood is an interesting book for those keen to know more about the Masonic movement. It contains more than 200 photographs and illustrations and that alone makes this volume a value buy. The volume is divided into four parts. Part One covers the introduction to freemasonry, Part Two focuses on Legend and History [the Knights Templar, the Hiramic Legend, Rennaissance, Masonic Ritual etc], Part Three is on Masonic Architecture, and Part Four deals with signs and symbols. There is a glossary at the end as well as an index and bibliography of sources. Though the content may not be deemed comprehensive and this is a rather thin volume on the subject, the illustrations and photographs are rich and beautiful and make this worth owning.
It gets 5 stars for the illustrations!

I would purchase this book just for the illustrations, they are beautiful. If your looking for more, this isn't the book for you. However, it is a great addition as I said just for the illustrations.
Most useful for new/pending brothers

Beautifully illustrated and clearly explained- similar to MacNulty but with less text.
