Must Read

This book is amazing to see the alternative to what could happen without our Constitution. The book is intriguing, great story telling as well as learning why liberty and freedom are so important.

Shows the importance of the Constitution

The Freedom Factor depicts Bryce Sherwood, the Legislative assistant to Senator Hawkes, when he is transported by the spirit of Nathanial Gorham, one of the original signers of the Constiturion, into a world where the Constitution was never ratified. He accepts help from his date, Leslie Adams, from the world with the Constitution, in the world without one to make a revolutionary blow on the government of the Confederated States of North America to recreate the American dream. I like the way that Gerald N. Lund makes history into an enjoyable subject and allows a brand new look on the Constitution. I would reccomend this book to anybody old enough to understand history and to enjoy it. I also would reccomend Gerald's book, The Alliance.

The Freedom Factor

This is a must read for all ages! Easy reading - but with a thought provoking message. Highly recommend this for student book list required reading!

Outstanding What If Novel

I read this book years ago, bought it, and have read it about twice a year ever since. It's style is almost science fiction, as Nathaniel Gorham, one of the signers of the Constitution, appears to a young senator's aide (Bryce Sherwood) to show him why a 27th amendment to the Constitution would be a bad idea. Bryce is taken to a place where the Constitution was never ratified, and shown how precious country's form of government is, and how much we take the check and balances of this government for granted. This is an excellent read and I highly recommend this, and all of Gerald Lund's books. For another science fictional type story, I suggest "The Alliance", also an excellent book on freedom.

A very unique look at our Constitution.

Geruld N. Lund makes his point very obvious in this book. Our Government should not be messed with. The way he depicts the significance of the US Constitution is amazing. He really shows just how America could be without our Constitution and how the Constitution should not be messed with. This book is a must read. When you finish this book, you'll look at our country and our Constitution a lot differently. You will see just how thankful you should be for it.
