Highly Recommend - The Fishbowl Principle: Building the ark for the 21st Century

The Fishbowl Principle is an innovative work not just for the overall message but also the interactive nature of the book. Having the authors' work evolve and challenged by readers, of all backgrounds, further provides credence to the book's overall message and thorough research. Additionally, the sheer breadth and scope of the book provides a solid foundation for where we, as a global society, have been but also where we are going. Some of the topics in the book may be controversial for some readers, but I applaud the authors for taking it upon themselves to address these issues in a constructive manner for the betterment of our global society. I highly recommend The Fishbowl Principle for anybody looking to advance their own understanding of the world around them. The book can be rather dense at times, but individually and our society can only grow, for the better, by reading The Fishbowl Principle.

Impassioned and intriguing read on future evolutionary decline

Whether you approach this read from the point of view of a lay person or an expert, "The Fishbowl Principle" leaves you cautiously optimistic about the future of the human race. The book starts at the beginning, painstakingly tracing our roots back to the beginnings of the physical universe, through the emergence of humans to the current day threats to evolution. As the authors explain, the book has not been written by scientists or even doctors, but by three smart guys who care enough about the planet we inhabit to discuss how we just might succeed in ruining it if we follow our current path. The concept argued in the book is that we all approach evolution from our own "fishbowls". We want to make our lives, and the lives of people around us, with whom we share common ground, better. What we don't think about by viewing evolution with this myopia is that our evolution is commonly to the detriment of other humans, some on the other end of the globe, but some in our own backyard. The challenge presented is to view evolution from outside our own "fishbowls", and instead, from the perspective of a human. The challenge is in finding common ground in the basic human needs that we all share, regardless of age, race, religion or gender. No solutions are given. Ideas are discussed, but the authors leave it up to the reader to participate and be part of a movement for change. They invite the reader to comment, revise, and edit the current book, for future versions. They also invite participation on [..] by helping to build up "Ark Nodes" further strengthening the idea of our interconnectedness. Read "The Fishbowl Principle" if you are a believer that one person can make a difference. Read it if you want to understand how humans came to be, how the development of the human mind can be at once both mystical and highly scientific, and read it to challenge yourself on how to affect positive change in our current environmental dilemma.
