Wonderful book!

This is a wonderful book for children to learn to recognize and understand their feelings. I highly recommend it!

Great for those young girls.

This is a great journal to help the young ladies to figure themselves out. I think it is a way for us to help connect with each other because she likes to share her journal with me. It also gives these young ladies a place to help them sort their feelings and try to understand why they feel the way they do. Great book and I would buy it again. I wish they had one for the young men in my home.

The Feelings Book Journal

This little spiral-bound workbook for school-age girls The Feelings Book Journal is useful for helping girls identify their feelings. The book provides space for the user to write in her thoughts and feelings about herself and her friends. I use this book to assist girls in navigating relationships with girlfriends and building self esteem. Linda Piantieri, Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern.

Great guide to help children express emotions

The American Girl feelings journal was recently introduced to me. As a children's psychotherapist, this is one book I always have recommended. It is a springboard to allow those pre-teens to verbalize the challenges that they face in daily life. The illustrations are quite "catchy" for this age group. The wording and presentation simplifies feelings that are otherwise difficult to explain. My bookshelves are filled with books that I rarely touch - this is one I go to again and again.

great childrens insight

We have 4 children 3 girls and 1 boy 7, a boy 8, 10, 11. Each of them really like book the 7 year is just a little to young but does benefit from it. They really like doing the exercises. It helps them to understand there emotions and that they are not singled out in those feelings. There is a journal that goes with this book a must have. They write in it at least 2 times a week. It also gives the parents an opportunity to get in touch with each of their children's different emotional conditions. Great book.
