Book Overview

I fell in love the way you fall asleep: slowly, then all at once.

Despite the tumour-shrinking medical miracle that has bought her a few years, Hazel has never been anything but terminal, her final chapter inscribed upon diagnosis.

But when a gorgeous plot twist named Augustus Waters suddenly appears at Cancer Kid Support Group, Hazel's story is about to be completely rewritten.

Insightful, bold, irreverent,...

It’s one of my favorite book even years later

It’s really just a great story I’ve read it multiple times

My favorite

I absolutely love this book

The book came in excellent condition, the story is just wack

Look, I know this book just may not be for me and that's alright. It's okay to love a book that I absolutely despise. But .. oh my god. I had such a bad time while reading this. It was just- So choppy. The writing style switched from teen slangy to all metaphorical. There are some scenes which are like, borderline disrespectful?? I honestly just wouldn't recommend this book.. like, at all.

Just another John Green novel

If you don't like John Green's other novels you likely won't enjoy this one. A wonderfully developed tragic love story with a realist ending. I love books like these. Be prepared to cry!

Kinda dissatisfied.

I love the book and it has great quality but, a little disappointed in the seller since this book is printed on the inside saying it to a Little Free Library.

Even better than the movie!

Loved this book, really easy to read. Is one of my favorites!

l o v e d

This was my first time reading a book by John Green, and let me tell you, it was an experience. I love the writing style in this; it’s a book that you think about even after finishing it.

The Fault In Our Stars is amazing

This book is a very heartfelt, realistic book. It contains many different real life questions such as 'will I make a difference?' Or 'will I matter when I die?' And for that I love it.

Wonderful story!

It may be a young adult book, but this 65 year old ex-teacher just loved it. I grew to love these characters.

Each time you read it, it gets better

I've read this book several times and I'll be honest, each time I read it I cry more than the last. To be fair, parts of the book are incredibly cheesy, but it doesn't deter away from how great of a novel it is. You'll fall in love with the characters and just wish that there was more. Read this boook!!

Fault in the stars

Everyone should read this wonderful love story

Beautifully Written

John Green's writings style is truly amazing. This book was sad and romantic. It was perfect, probably my favorite book of all time.

Amazing

The fault in our stars is a love novel starring Hazel Grace, a teen with terminal cancer who lives a quite a boring life, until she meets a guy, Augustus Walters, a charming, flirty guy. He changes her whole life, going on adventures and getting to know what love is. The story is narrated by Hazel. She let us in on all her thoughts and opinions. She is very smart, and emotional. Hazel had gone through a lot during her life and she was isolated from a lot because of her cancer. She’s been living with cancer most of her life and she’s never really had friends. She learned how to trust Augustus and over a few months he became her everything. Hazel’s character is quite realistic in my opinion. She’s just sweet and quite lovable. This book is mostly about love. I think this book is quite relatable to a lot of people because we all have someone who we love. Being loved is a beautiful thing, and through out this book we get to witness how Hazel and Augustus fell in love. I think this book is quite amazing. The author knows how to connect with the reader in a really cool way. He doesn’t use the story itself to connect with people, but the message behind the story and the emotion behind the story, although the story is very good too. I think this book is mostly directed towards teens and young adults because the book is about young love, but it’s also a good book for anyone who just wants something emotional to read about. I definitely recommend this book but also all of John Green’s other books.

The used condition of the book should have been stated at the very outset, like Amazon does.

A must read for any age.

When my 16-year-old daughter first told me about this book I thought it was just another teenage love story. Not so. This book will make you laugh, smile, and cry. I loved all the characters in the book as well. It is indeed a teenage love story, but there's so much more to this story than that. Don't pass this one up.
