The Fat Mexican........A PHAT Winner!

Having read practically everything inked about motorcycle clubs, I had high expectations for this book and was NOT dissapointed. It gets right to the point, plants it's hooks in the reader and drags him/her into the seedy underworld of the outlaw biker like no other vehicle has done before. So well written that you will smell the aroma of a condemned man's sweat, feel the strength of tight family bonds and taste the terror of wondering......."will I walk away or be carried?". This is a straight on depiction of the men and woman of the biker society and includes a snapshot look at the lives of the innocent "civilians" and how these lives can be affected simply by being in close proximety to the "clubbers" Having read Out In Bad Standings by Edward "Connecticut Ed" Winterhalder, I had been primed for what is brought forth in TFM.Out in Bad Standings: Inside the Bandidos Motorcycle Club--The Making of a Worldwide Dynasty Although a degree of "artistic license" was incorporated within it's pages, the book (based on my following the court reports throughout the trial of the Shedden murder suspects)shares more truth than you will find elsewhere outside the jury box. Not a learned literary critic by any stretch, I won't ramble, but I WILL enthusiastically reccomend this book to anyone who has an interest in the outlaw motorcycle club phenomina. Of the all, this is one of the best! Read and be afraid......be VERY afraid! Swaman
