The Family Treasury of Children's Stories - Book One

Amusingly enough, I read the previous review foe this listing that said they specifically didn't want the red version of this book, so I ordered it hoping the same mistake would happen again! I got the white cover version, so while a bit disappointed as I was hoping to complete a set with the red covers, it is still a lovely little book. I loved this set as a child.

I purchased the set of 3 Family Treasury of Children's Stories and rather than receiving the pictured Book One, which I expected when I purchased, I received the volume with the red cover. Specifically NOT what I wanted!. I contacted the company to return the book and receive the one that was pictured that I believed I purchased. The response was: "All items are listed by ISBN match and product details come from an ISBN database. Based on the information provided, we sent the correct item. Display images are always stock photos unless otherwise specified. Upon receipt you will be issued a refund for the amount of the original book price. Unfortunately we are unable to credit you for the shipping fees. If return shipping costs exceeds the value of the original book price, we would suggest keeping the item or donating it to a local donation center." When I search the ISBN in my order, it cannot be found in their database. But each book one on their site in this series with the grey cover and orange pictures has the same ISBN as the one listed in my order. The red covered book has a completely different ISBN. Clearly they sent the wrong book and do not feel it necessary to correct their mistake and send the book I actually ordered and paid for. Is the cost of the book worth making a fuss about this? No, BUT the integrity of the company is. They should do the right thing and send correct book.
