Nice pictures and great description

The book has alot of interesting plants, many of them tropical. My only complaint is that it didn't have many North American trees.

Best tree book ever

This book is great now you can take a leaf and with this book get family, botanical and common names. My landscaping class used it more than anything else. Best money I ever spent. The Identification key in the front of the book is a great time saver when trying to find what tree you are looking at.

All about trees

I LOVE THIS BOOK! I am a horticulture student and I got this book to help me with tree ID. If I wasn't a student, this book would still be WONDERFUL. It is easy to follow- any one who wants to identify trees could use this book. It has become my favorite book! I was able to identify every tree I came across on mt vacation in the San Juans.

Visual guide to over 500 tree species of the world

This book has 600 full-color photos of more than 500 species of trees. All descriptions of tree features are located immediately adjacent to the photos. The book contains an introduction that explains what a tree is and a visual identity key to illustrate the difference between conifers, broadleafs and palms. This is followed by the tree photos and descriptions, in turn followed by a glossary and index. The book does not include all minor varieties found in the U.S. but it includes trees from all over the world. For United States tree fans, it makes a good companion book for a U.S. oriented guide to identify imported specie
