The Everything Guide to Being a Real Estate Agent: Secrets to a Successful Career!

This book does a great job of explaining exactly what you can expect if you decide to pursue a career in Real Estate. Shahri does an excellent job of helping you understand what roles you may be expected to play, how much training you may need (depends on the state) and what you will most likely spend your day doing. I really liked how she clarified this notion that Agents just show or list property and collect a big fat check. She lets you know how the commissions are normally split and why you have to look upon being an Agent as your own business. Bottom Line: If you are considering becoming a Real Estate Agent, or just want to know more about the profession, this book does a great job of explaining everything without getting too technical or caught up in contracts and legalese.
