The Echoes

Another winner for Jess Montgomery. I have now read the entire Kinship series and I actually hated to finish The Echoes. I hope the author will continue on with this series. I am fully invested in these characters now. Lily is a female sheriff (unheard of at the time) in Kinship Ohio in 1928 trying to solve the murder or a young girl found in a lake and also trying to find her kidnapped niece that she just found out about yesterday. Together with her Mother and her best friends Marvina and Hildy she sets out to solve this case and find her niece. I will say that I have thoroughly enjoyed this series to the point that it is now hard for me to pick up another book to read. I will, of course, but these people have become my friends. That is a great author when you don't ever want the series to end. Looking forward to the next one.
