Modern Day Fairy Tale

Diane Fields is a single mother of three living quitly in Connecticutt. It just so happens that her sister is married to the King of Elbia. Diane tells her parents that she is in some finacial trouble and it makes its way to Europe to her sister and brother in law. Diane's brother in law sends his friend and body guard Thomas to go to Connecticutt to see what he can do to help. What ends up happening is Thomas gets Diane to send her children to Florida to visit their grandparents and she and Thomas go back to Elbia to visit her sister and nephew and neice. While she is in Elbia the sparks fly between her and Thomas that both try to fight. It is hard to do though and Diane ends up leaving Elbia with Thomas in persuit after which they end up pregnant and married All in all a very good book

Different from other Silhouette books I've read

I found the plot of the king's "bodyguard" in love with the king's sister-in-law to be interesting. While trying to remain loyal to Jacob von Austerand, Thomas, his "bodyguard" is falling in love with Diane Fields, a recent divorcee from New England. He knows that to fall in love with the woman would be committing treason.... I really enjoyed this and would recommend it for those who are looking for something a little different from the norm.
