The E-Commerce Rosetta Stone For Geeks

A very strong right-brained approach to E-Commerce. Sure, there's plenty of technical tomes with more by-the-numbers advice, but this book represents the users better than any I've read. This is for those who know 'how' to build a site, but don't know why one is a hit and another disappears.

An excellent recipe for success .

This book "The E-commerce Building the E-Empire" is a recipe for success. It takes you from marketing a site to building an e-commerce empire. It has excellent success stories to inspire you along the journey. I recommend this book to any one that is building an e-commerce solution for their company.

Turning your focus to eCommerce? Get this book!

The eCommerce Book is an outstanding resource for those now turning they're focusing to eCommerce. It covers the essential elements for someone in need of a broad understanding of the field. I learned the basics of payment systems, security, auction technology, globalization, and vendor solutions. The simplification of the basic architecture and deployment process for eCommerce was particularly helpful. This is not a dry technical reference book. On the contrary, this is a quick, positive, and enthusiastic read of an exciting and emerging mega-trend. I liked the numerous link-references to interesting and helpful Internet sites relevant to the book. Written by computer scientists, but with a keen attention to business issues, this book was helpful to me for both my engineering and management needs. About the only thing I would suggest would be an appendix with footnotes to technical references for those of us that may need to dig deeper in a certain arcane area. If you are just starting to focus on this area (or if you would like to round out your knowledge of this broad field), then this is the book for you!

An Arrow in the Heart of e-Commerce

As an Executive Consultant for one of North Americas top seven information technology companies it is my job to help the executives define their e-Business strategy. This book is a must read if you want to be successful in the implementation of an e-Business Strategy or the adoption of e-Commerce technology. We use this book and customers.com as the bibles we give to CEO's, CFO's and CIO's during our week long e-Business Strategy sessions. Since we are highly paid to prepare these sessions we want our customers to have the best e-Commerce references on their desks when we leave..this is the best reading and reference book available.

A very insightful reading

For many of us who know E-commerce as a buzzword, this book fleshes out the concepts and current practices clearly. The book is written in a simple, unassuming style covering all aspects of E-commerce and effectively clears up the complexities of E-commerce. This book contains many useful resources and references. I would recommend this book for any one who has little or no knowledge of E-commerce and for those who are looking for a road map for implementing an E-commerce strategy.I am a student of E-commerce at California State University, Fullerton. This book was picked out over many other books as a prime reference guide.
