a great dark fantasy without the spice.

Love this book! If you love dark fantasy books without “spice” this is a great book. Right from the beginning it keeps you hooked and never want to put it down. Sometimes characters are hard to follow and remember but a google search always refreshes the memory.

Fantasy favorite

Great book couldn't put down very captivating and thought the next one was a must read right after.

Soooo good!!

I couldn't put it down! One twist after the next. Great characters and story. I love a good heist.

Wonderful

Loved this one, amazingly paced and well weaved

Excellent!

love the book so much my only complaint was that i hate the ugly netflix badge that IS NOT removable

Honest Review

This is my honest take on the book: it wasn't terrible, but definitely severely overhyped. I was a bit confused in the beginning because it went from one character and one scene that was introduced to a completely different scene/characters within the span of about 10 pages. The context of the first scene didn't make sense until later on (about halfway through the book) which is a con considering readers are more inclined to give up reading a book if it starts off confusing and takes too long to start making sense. Another thing I disliked was the character dynamic; some of the characters' relationship with one another felt so off and underdeveloped, like it was thrown together just for the sake of being able to say that there is character diversity in the book. It could have been better written out. Just like some scenes in the book were underdeveloped (like the heist which is the main thing this book is about). I was expecting a 5 star read with this book, but it wasn't that.

genuinely one of the best books i've ever read, hands down

all of the characters are so well-rounded with their own flaws and their own backgrounds - the plot was honestly really amamzing. this book is incredibly well written, if i could give it a 6/5, i would in a heartbeat

A Must-Read

The plot is very well written, and the world the author created feels real, but one of the best reasons to read this book is for the characters. Each is unique and have their own role in the story. Plus, the dialogue will make you laugh. So, this book has adventure, mystery... annnd humor. It really is the perfect book.

This Is Honestly The Best Book Ever!

This is honestly the best book ever! I also love the sequel, “Crooked Kingdom.” There’s danger, adventure, mystery, a pinch of romance and a dash of what it would be like to live in the late 1800s. I would be ecstatic to live in the world of Kerch. A must read!

Best book since Percy Jackson!

This book is astounding! The characters and way it was written is unlike your typical book. I'm still stumped to find something better. Kaz Brekker forever!

This book is so good I named my kitten after a character!

Really, I did! The character development is amazing, the writing is beautiful, the story is captivating. I haven't liked a book this much in a very long time. Not only is Leigh Bardugo's book, Six of Crows a great read but the audiobook is a wonderful version as well. I have both, and have also gifted a hard copy to a friend. I can't wait for the sequel to come out! Also, I started her work with Six of Crows (not The Grisha Trilogy) and I found there to only be one small spoiler which really just lead me to wonder what was going to happen to a specific character all the way through the end of book three of The Grisha Trilogy. If you're wondering if you can read this before the trilogy my personal answer is yes!
