An all-new book from the creatorsof the hugely popular web site thesmokinggun.com. Themost hilarious and outrageous true stories uncovered inten years (almost) of the worldrs"s funniestinvestigative reporting.
A brand new collection of disjointed speech, absurdities, hilarious clues, wise sayings, diabolic findings: the ultimate handbook for the successful comedian? No, it's all true. The most powerful imagination can't compare with what crude facts have in store. Pure entertainment directly from everyday life. Police reports that seem to come from the pen of an inspired Mark Twain; court transcripts pervaded with peerless drama. With "The dog dialed 911", human nature tops the heap of comedy. Once again, reality meets fantasy. And wins.

Got this for the wife as a gag-gift for Xmas. We both absolutely love it; it's laugh-out-loud. A good read for someone with a slightly perverse sense of humor.

The book was great, much like going to Smoking Gun. I laughed all the way through it.

Gave this book as a Christmas gift but before wrapping it I couldn't help digging in. It was fabulous. Makes a great coffee-table book or something to pick up for a quick and easy laugh. After being opened on Christmas we saw it picked up time and time again by different family members getting a good chuckle out of the zany articles and pictures. Makes a GREAT gift for your eccentric friends and family members.
Funny and eye-opening

The lists provided in this book act as a testament to the idiocy of some people. Even those that hold top positions in our society did not get there based upon their intelligence. Read this and enjoy. Readers will certainly find something that will educate, entertain, and with some luck, change their minds about those that are idolized. Have fun!
