I have been doing daily devotions and journals since I attended New Hope in Hawaii. My husband used to read bible randomly. Even he seeks for God's words very frequently and knows many scriptures; he did not understand why I tried to have a quiet time just between God and me before I start my day in the mornings. I was sometimes bothered or interrupted and once I missed the timing, it's hard to focus on the Words. I gifted this book to my husband. He read it in a day. After he understands why, how and when we need to listen to God, he was willing to start own. Now, we individually have quality time with the Lord, share our thoughts together and pray for each other. This book definitely brings peace and blessings to our lives.
