Hot Hot Hot and Funny to boot

I have read this book 3 times now and I could not put it down the first time I read it.Although I have not had a chance to read good time girl (its in the mail). She really makes the chacters come to life.I love the way they fight before they heat things up.I love the way he found her in the water tank and watched her from far away.Yet when he comes to give her a hand she blows him off.Just to turn around and take charge at the wedding in the tack room.I love the ending it is one of the best ones I have read....Two thumbs up......:)

Hot and Amusing.

If you're looking for heat and steam, then THE COWBOY WAY is for you . . . and for me. I confess I couldn't put down Harlequin Blaze # 177 because Candace Schuler wrote a gem. Clay Madison is not used to being 'used'. He is used to calling the bedroom scenes. Why? A): He is a big-time rodeo star and B): he is a man! The man has a woman in every town and in every city - everywhere the rodeo plays! The man likes flash, curves, and no fuss when the party is over. So, why is this man allowing a serious-minded, prissy, skinny lady-rancher to direct his bedroom action? Miz Jo Beth Jensen has no time for cowboys. Oh, they are fine as employees, and they are good enough to be friends, yeah they are ok, but they are just NOT bed-partners! No way, Jose! So why is she fantasizing about Clay Madison? What is it about this man she can't leave alone - this four-time Pro Rodeo championship bull-riding cowboy man? Although her heroine is a tough little cookie, the author surrounds Jo Beth in vulnerability and the hero may bend, but under the surface Clay Madison radiates strength. This story is delightful, the banter is first-rate, and the potency is electrifying. Good golly, Schuler writes some juicy scenes. Hey, doesn't this author know paper burns? Yeah, Schuler's THE COWBOY WAY is one entertaining, humorous, and hot read! Grade: A MaryGrace Meloche. Reviewer for RomanceDesigns.com

WOW!

I Loved this book! Stayed up till 2 a.m. to finish it. Taking into consideration the time constraints with a "Harlequin," I found the characters to be well developed and very likable. This is a story about a "hesitant to love" woman, and a man about to find himself on the opposite side of an attraction that he would normally lead. The way she turns the tables and uses him for a "good time," it's absolutely hilarious to watch him flounder. I laughed quite a bit, and could have used a fan a few times. In fact, there is a scene where they dance... Well, I'm surprised the pages didn't ignite. What I love most about romance is the banter between the couples, and this author delivers! The writing was dynamic. I'm on the hunt for this authors backlist.

amusing torrid contemporary gender war

In Texas rancher Jo Beth Jensonhas two rules when it comes to sex. Never participate near home and even more important never with a cowboy. She still feels the hurt when the man every one including her thought would marry her came home with a bride that was not Jo Beth. Still at the wedding of her friend Roxanne (see GOOD TIME GIRL) Jo Beth met champion bull rider Clay Madison and deep inside her brain knows she would love to have the rodeo star ride her, but never ever a cowboy remains her mantra. Recovering from an injury and having not forgotten the maid of honor at the nuptials of his pal Tom six months ago and seeing that vision skinny dipping, Clay tries to persuade Jo Beth into sharing his bed. Though attracted to Clay, Jo Beth says no to the cowboy. He refuses to accept her stereotype and begins a campaign to win her over, but soon wants more than a healing fling as Clay has fallen in love with Jo Beth; she feels the same way but distrusts cowboys with her heart. THE COWBOY WAY takes secondary characters from a good time hot Blaze and brings them together in an amusing torrid tale of their own. The story line is humorous as the cowboy tries to convince the anti-cowboy to join him in heated fun. The lead couple makes the ranch romance work as they prove support cast can star in their own adventure. Candace Shuler provides a jocular contemporary gender war that fans will appreciate.
