My parents have been JT fans for over 30 years and own over 100 different titles by JT. I have read every one (many over and over), and while I love Waco and the Ysabel Kid my favorite character is Danny Fog despite the fact that he appears only in two stories (The `Bad Bunch' and `Running Irons'/'Cow Thieves') before being brutally murdered in `A Town Called Yellowdog'. `Running Irons' was previously published only in England and my dad spent years tracking down a copy for me. It is very fragile so I was thrilled to find a newer copy of my favorite JT story. If you liked this story I especially recommend `Waco's Debt' (not yet re-published) or `Waco's Badge'. A note for JT Collectors, the titles often change when the stories are republished (`Cow Thieves' to `Running Irons') so if you have older books check newer books for their original titles before buying. Recently re-released `The Road to Ratchet Creek' was previously `Calamity Spells Trouble' and `Texas Killers' is the first(?) part of a two book mini-series originally titled `Benguinage' and `Benguinage is Dead' then re-published as `The Texas Assassin' and `The Lone Star Killers'.
