Excellent Overview of Alternative Pyramid Theories!

The Complete Pyramid Sourcebook is an up to date overview of most theories of the Great Pyramid. This book concentrates on providing information on virtually all of the contemporary and emerging theories and understandings of the purpose of the Great Pyramid. What I liked about this book is that it focuses on technical aspects of this mighty construction project. Many of the theories and ideas will be new material to most readers. This book provides a good foundation concerning the swirling controversy surrounding this ancient wonder. As its title attests, this book is a valuable sourcebook for anyone who seeks to understand the Great Pyramid.

Excellent Sourcebook

Being one of the newest board members of the Great Pyramid of Giza Research Association Advisory board, I was excited when informed that John DeSalvo, PhD, was writing a book on the subject. With the many comments from other researchers and historical value of the book, I was more than pleased with the contents of the book.It compiles much of what has been previously written in one easy to read source and once you start to read it, it will be hard to put down.

Excellent Compendium

Dr. John DeSalvo has provided a valuable service to all interested in the latest alternative research concerning the Great Pyramid. Instead of having to read dozens of different books and articles, Dr. DeSalvo provides excerpts of many works to provide the reader an overview of the latest information in this field.Dr. DeSalvo also provides some insight to the never before published work of Russian and Ukrainian researchers into pyramid effects. As Director of The Great Pyramid of Research Asociation, John DeSalvo has given the opportunity to many independant researchers to get some of their work in print and seen by many people--this is a wonderful service. This book should be on everyone's bookshelf who is interested in the work of many great researchers into the Great Pyramid--right alongside Peter Tompkins.

An actual encyclopedia of the pyramid research

The book was written by a man who could gather in an international association most interesting and active researchers studying the Great Pyramid and strange effects associated with its shape. The book presents detailed stories about major artifacts revealed in the Great Pyramid and its surrounding, which have been scattered by various books, magazines, journals, private files, and the web. Dr. DeSalvo narrates interesting and intriguing stories occurred with members of The Great Pyramid of Giza Research Association, quotes paragraphs from rare books including the first book written about the Pyramid in 1646 and notations of ancient Arabian explorers. Very new results, theories, ideas, propositions, findings, and achievements are also available in the book. There are many unique pictures; there are schemes of researchers, which link the Pyramid to distant stars; there are explanations of how the Pyramid would function in the ancient time (Dunn's theory of the maser, Cadman's theory of water pump, and etc.). The book includes feature stories about the age of the Pyramid and time when it was built. The reader can read about unique research carried out by archeologist J. A. West and about the ancient autochthonous population of Egypt, Khemitians, and their knowledge, which leaked out due to the enthusiasm of archeologist S. Mehler. The reader will find also information on big Russian and Ukrainian pyramids constructed in the 1990s and the research conducted in them; a big pyramid in India constructed in 2002 for the meditation purpose. There is also description of studied performed in 2000s both in the Great Pyramid and its small models. Besides, this is the first book on the pyramid, which accounts for the pyramid power in terms of modern physics. Then you will find an enthralling story about the search for secret chambers in the Great Pyramid. And also about water shafts, water channels, resonance frequencies, precise measurements, experiments on the deviation of gamma-rays, and so on. Anyone will find information that he/she has been looking for a long time. There are a lot of references and web links. In fact, DeSalvo's composition is a phenomenon in a long line of extensive books about the Great Pyramid and related topics. Undoubtedly, you will enjoy reading The Compete Pyramid Sourcebook.

The Complete Pyramid Sourcebook

This book rocks!!! Dr. DeSalvo takes us on a Tour de Force of the Great Pyramid and offers insights and perspective to current and future developments in theories about the ultimate purpose of this the greatest of architectural enigmas. The CPS left me feeling like I'd sat in on a meeting with the designers. It left me feeling like I'd "been there", like I was a part of it! It is unique from all other books on the Great Pyramid in that in addition to the doctors well articulated guided tour from the vastly enormous exterior to its dark and clithrophobic interior passages, it devotes a large portion to essays from contemporary cutting-edge researchers so we can read in their own words what they are up to. A new generation of young curious minds are being exposed via the Internet and television to the fact that there are unresolved problems with the traditionally skewed perspectives offered through the mainstream as regards the Great Pyramid. Because of this information blitz, young and old alike are beginning (again) to ask the important questions that our conventional history texts simply fail to address - but unlike the previous generation a mere 20 years removed, this time around we appear to be on the verge of getting some real answers. Dr. DeSalvo through his `Great Pyramid of Giza Research Association' (GPGRA) and its website gizapyramid.com has managed successfully to harvest a wealth of Pyramid knowledge (little known at best), that lurks behind the mainstream. In so doing he offers us many new perspectives - some of which are so confounding to orthodox Egyptology that to even place them on the mantle of accepted theories would collapse the shelf by its own weight. Not since Peter Tompkins' "Secrets of the Great Pyramid" has a treatment this diverse on the subject of the Great Pyramid been so forthcoming. Dr. DeSalvo has managed over the years to attract a global array of talent from intelligent enthusiasts to electrical and mechanical engineers to academics and PhD's to bring to the world for the first time ever a collection of historical and contemporary essays that bring new and exciting discoveries to light. But don't expect this book to offer the spoon-fed (and I might add nephariously funded) "Fox" or even "PBS type" versions of ancient history. You will be exposed to REAL research by REAL researchers that have REAL questions about REAL anomalies and who aren't afraid to challenge the academic and indeed `political' communities. With a generous supply of pictures, and compelling narrative the good doctor takes us on a guided tour that you can't purchase from your local travel agent. Using this modern masterpiece as a launching board you can investigate the many books and articles by the respective authors from which the various essays were taken. The book is well referenced for the student to further delve into his or her particular area of study. The collective brain power in this book is impressive and be assured there is something
