One of the games people sometimes play is around the question, "If you could have anyone to dinner that you'd like, who would you have?" Bill Bryson is at the top of my list (along with Barbara Kingsolver and John McPhee). I've never not liked one of Bryson's books. This one is another winner. Some of the content is a bit "rehashy" for devoted readers, but Bryson rehashed is much better than most other writers. The processes...
