Perfect for teens of all ages!

As a teacher, I found this book to be an excellent resource, not only for myself, but for all my students. The authors have an acute knowledge of the pressures teens deal with today and address those issues in ways every teen can relate to and find comfort in. I HIGHLY recommend it!

Extremely useful book!

Most of our children are very stressed in our highly competitive society. This book is very timely, and written in a way that children can understand. My children have enjoyed reading it, and have gotten a lot out of it.

stellar

really comprehensive understanding and accessibility for those icky years. but icky doesnt need to be sticky! these three have done it. bravo. my kids need a guidebook that doesnt spell mom; theyre glued to it.

Stress for Teens: A Common Occurance

This is the second book by the authors that I have adapted for use in the classroom. My middle-school students were so receptive to the previous book on peer pressure, that I read and started using "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Dealing with Stress for Teens" . I was not disappointed. It was equally well-written and, again, the authors exhibit knowledge of the subject and how to explain it to this age group. The teen years are one of the most stressful times in a person's life. It is so important to be able to cope and control the stress that abounds during these years. Again, let's get it on the shelves of our library. It would make a fine text for a course on that subject.
