The Complete Adventures of the Mole Sisters

Schwartz has created a sweet series of books about the mole sisters who have a strong sibling bond and who stop and take time to appreciate the world around them. They focus around nature and are very positive. One of my favorite quotes is "Anything can happen on a beautiful moonlit night." The collection of stories in hardback form is nice, but I think I actually prefer the individual paperback books. They are small square books-great for little hands. My two year old daughter loves these stories and I love having a series with female characters who are not princesses,dancers or fairies. They are a great gift for newborn baby girls.

My 4 year old son brought a copy of one of the Mole Sisters stories home from the school library - every week he picked the same book! I bought him the whole collection of the Mole Sisters for Valentine's Day, and it is by far his favorite book. The stories are witty, short, and fun to read - even after the bazillionenth time!

I decided to purchase this lovely book for my son as a reminder of our wonderful trip to Montreal. The author of this book lives in Montreal. Ever since our trip, my husband have enjoyed reading it to my son (2.5 years old). It is really very simple but to the point and very very sweet. My son loves to copy all the sounds as they read now. I believe that "The Mole Sister" will be a cherished book for many years to come.

I purchased this book two months ago and my daughter loves it! We read it almost everyday and she is even singing like the Mole Sisters. The illustrations are beautiful and the 10 stories are short enough that you can read several in one bedtime reading. Each story teaches children to explore, help one another, and make the best of a bad situation, such as a rainy day. A great addition to your child's book collection!
