A week of fun begins when Mrs. Calamari and her many cats move into a new apartmentuntil the nearsighted landlord--who has lost his glasses--declares "No cats are allowed!" This description may be from another edition of this product.
Mr. Gangplank, the landlord of Mrs. Calamari's apartment, is a stickler for pets and has a NO CATS RULE. Mrs. Calamari owns hundreds of cats and has to come up with a way to hide her cat family in this apartment. The many cats dress up as relatives, immediate family, friends, distant cousins, etc. As the story develops certain things happen that allow Mr. Gangplank to rather enjoy the relatives. Because he lost his glasses, he goes on believing they are family when really he and his dog, Potato, are living amongst hundreds of feline friends. Not your ordinary cat story.
Funny story, cute pictures, my daughter's favorite.

My daughter, age six, loves this book, especially the cartoon-like pictures of the cats all dressed up in clothes! She laughed out loud at the pictures and the accompanying text. This book has a clever and funny storyline and a nice ending. We originally found this book at the library but read it so many times we decided to buy our own copy! It's a great book and is currently my daughter's favorite.
