As Head of Ranch Security, Hank knows it's his job to check the trap and help Slim nail the culprit. Unfortunately, the trap is a bit trickier than Hank expected, and when he finds himself face-to-face with none other than his old buddy Eddy the Rac, Hank's in a rather compromising position. Can Eddy help Hank out, or does the cunning coon...

Really Funny!

Written by 10 year old boy - The racoon was taking the corn from the shed, Hank thought was suspicious so he made a trap. The racoon was tricking and made Hank get into the trap. My favorite part was when Hank got caught in the trap. I would recommend this series to other people about age 9/10.

Great Book

I love all the Hank books, and this is a great one for the Christmas season. These books are hilarious and more important to the young reader, fun to read. I'd also check the rest of the series. Author of "Hobo Finds A Home" editor "Of A Predatory Heart"

Great Stuff!

This is the most recent book (so far) in the Hank the cowdog series, which I love. Those wanting a funny, easy, very light read will love this. At the beginning of the book (following Hank's claims about grass working wonders for the digestive system), a feed bag in the shed is torn apart, the work of Eddie the Rac, a mischievous raccoon who Hank knows well. Slim decides to set a trap for Eddie without hurting him. However, for some strange reason, Hank always manages to get himself stuck in the trap - three nights in a row! This book is done in the same style as the books before it. Fans of the series' hilarious songs and wacky conversations between Hank and Drover will not be disappointed. I sure wasn't, except in one regard; in earlier books a pair of coyotes named Rip and Snort made regular appearances. They haven't shown up since book #40. What's up with that?
