The Burn Palace

The story line was very very interesting and left me really perplexed about what was going on. I liked the characters alright and their storylines, although semi-hard to keep track of, were also pretty interesting. The ending of the story left me wanting a little more to be said about the alleged black magic going on and the closure also lacked the devilishness I was hoping for. Some of the book recounts important events through Woody or Bobby's POV *after* the event takes place, which was a little frustrating because I wanted to read those events as they took place. It made me feel a little disconnected from the storyline. Regardless, still a pretty captivating read and could be something I would recommend to someone looking for a spooky-ish mystery.
