The Book of Mordred

The Book of Mordred traces the early life of King Arthur's son, painting a picture of Arthurian society and culture that is remarkably different from myth and legend, yet still believable and captivating. When Arthur orders Mordred to accompany Lancelot and Galahad on a quest for the Grail, he does so partly "to make a man of him" and partly to keep the inquisitive, skeptical Mordred from further exerting his influence on the other members of the king's court.
